How hard do you have to work to make a million dollars?

We've all been employees of someone else at some point in our lives before the idea of creating an internet business to earn online millions even crossed our minds.

When we were employees, we learned to work for others. The more work we did, the more we were paid. However, the exact opposite is true in the world of internet business.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

When you work as an employee, you employer rewards you for the work you do. In an office, for instance, your daily work might include answering the phone, providing customer service, completing paperwork, etc. These are all tasks your employer pays you to do.

If you aren't working for somebody else, who will pay you to make phone calls and fill out paperwork? Nobody!

When you work toward earning internet millions, you only get paid when someone chooses to give you money - your customers. That's why it is essential to offer top of the line customer service, in addition to being willing to work for free until your business begins to turn a profit.

For some strange reason, many people don't seem to understand this. Perhaps they aren't very knowledgeable about business. If you are considering beginning a business to earn an online million, I strongly suggest that you read up on financial matters and entrepreneurship.

Tasks such as setting up your business, creating and building a great website, attending to technical difficulties, and keeping up to date on your blog are all essentials tasks that can't be avoided while starting any kind of internet business. As we've already discussed, however, you aren't being paid for those tasks.

If you're really having a difficult time with your business and just aren't getting adequate results with your sales, you may in fact be having a mental block about work.

Rather than looking for millions online, you are unconsciously looking for work to do. Work has always been "good" before, and it feels good to work hard now - even though no one is paying you to do so.

If you think this might be the case for you, it's time to put more energy into looking for deals and opportunities. A job won't make you rich. Many people who start an internet business realize that consciously, but still run their business with the idea of finding work to do and working hard (it always worked before, right?)

It's funny how this happens, especially when you consider that everyone who starts their own internet business wishes to have more time and money for themselves. There's not much point in jumping from one job into another job, and just calling it a business.

Don't look for work. Look for deals and opportunities to replace work. Opportunities will make you wealthy. You already know what you can get from a job - that's why you're looking elsewhere.

We're not putting down work, or even working at a job. If you are committed to becoming a successful internet millionaire, however, it's important to look for ways to increase your profit WHILE minimizing your workload. Anything else will keep you busy and poor.

While continuing the necessary day to day maintenance on your business is important, it will be the deals you make that bring in your online millions!
